Are you having difficulty in conceiving?
Then consider a visit to a chiropractor
Shockingly, Singapore’s national fertility rate dropped to a record low of 1.16 last year. This is well below the replacement rate of 2.1 and it means that two Singaporeans will become one in the next generation! This is a concern for the Government and it reflects the changing society in which we live. More stress, different goals, changing lifestyles and worsening health are all to blame.
There are thousands of Singaporeans who would do anything to conceive right now but it seems less and less are able.
If you decide that you are ready to start trying or you have already been trying for a long time, then you should certainly consider improving your odds of conception with a method that is totally natural, non-invasive, and often quick and inexpensive. Yes, a visit to the chiropractor may well help you conceive. In fact, nearly all chiropractic offices will have stories of happy couples that are suddenly able to conceive after years of frustration.
The Journal of Vertebral Subluxation Research published a series of research papers showing that chiropractic had positive results treating infertility regardless of age, number of years of infertility, whether or not there had been previous medical intervention or health history (including miscarriages, blocked fallopian tubes, amenorrhea, colitis, or trauma). Impressive results indeed.
So How Does it Work?
Well, your spine is the central highway of your most important nerves, conducting electrochemical energy around the body at lightening speeds. Just like any electrical appliance must be plugged in correctly to work properly, your reproductive system will also not function as intended if the nerves conducting the life energy back and forth between the brain and your organs are not functioning or are blocked in some way.
The main job of a talented, highly trained, chiropractor is to identify any pinched or stressed nerves and correct any spinal distortions (subluxations) that are causing them. Typically, in this modern world, these spinal distortions are caused by falls, illnesses, accidents, poor posture, or even stress. In Singapore, poor posture and stress will be by far the most important factors.
If there are subluxations (spinal distortions causing nerve interference) and they are corrected or reduced, then a woman’s menstrual cycle can strengthen, the delivery system for the egg through the fallopian tubes to the uterus can improve, and we have even seen cases of endometriosis beginning to reverse.
As a profession we have so much empirical evidence of women visiting a chiropractor for any number of seemingly unrelated reasons only to find themselves pregnant. In our office we have seen couples who have battled infertility for more than 10 years and then suddenly became pregnant within a couple of months of care in our office. We know of other successes after only a couple of visits to the chiropractor.
Will It Work For Everyone?
Of course this does not mean that all frustrated female patients will get pregnant after a visit to the chiropractor, only that it has worked for and continues to help many women worldwide. The body is controlled by the nervous system and if the nerves don’t flow correctly then dysfunction follows. This is widely understood and common sense.
Chiropractic is certainly an option worth exploring either alone or in conjunction with other infertility treatment. There are no side effects other than improved function. Even if you are not trying to conceive, a visit to the chiropractor can produce huge health benefits because the spinal nerves travel to all the organs of the body and these all need uninterrupted nerve supply. If you ARE TRYING TO CONCEIVE though, the benefits to fertility are just too compelling to ignore.
For you, it probably doesn’t really matter why or how it works? You just need to know that for many it has worked? For all these couples this is a proven fertility treatment that is easy, fast, gentle, non-invasive, inexpensive, painless and harmless? So if you are considering options or want to improve your odds then make an appointment with the chiropractor as part of your ‘conception plan’.
