    As an author, I spend many hours of the day at my computer. I know there has been a lot of talk in the news about poor posture due to long hours at the computer and using handphones etc., but I hadn’t really thought about it until I saw the preview to this book. I suddenly thought that perhaps the nagging ache I was feeling in my neck and shoulders could be due to the posture I was adopting. And then I looked at my children and was horrified to see that their heads were definitely not in the correct upright position but really leaning forward on their necks.

    I then bought the book and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It is an easy read with lots of illustrations and scientific facts to back up the research. It really explains the cause of poor posture, the consequences and how to fix it. I have to say that the book has been an ‘eye-opener’ for me and has really raised my awareness. I have definitely become a posture spotter and may even use some of the examples in my next novel! The really great thing, however, is that I can feel that my posture is improving after adopting some of the principles in the book and my neck/shoulder tension has virtually gone.

    I highly recommend this book to everyone : professionals, parents, corporate offices – in fact, anyone with a spine! I can see how it will really help improve your health, slow aging and, as the books states, help maximise your potential. I have now bought this on kindle so I can have this book with me always.

    I spend my days explaining to people why a poor posture can have a very negative effect on someone’s health. And now studies after studies are proving it. Dr Errington nails it with his book. This book is all about understanding the “why does is matter”, why do we have to check our children’s posture before it’s too late, why sitting in front a computer all day long has long lasting negative health effects. The list goes on and there is plenty of references to prove the point in a clear and concise manner. Give your body, your family and friends a favor and read this important book.

    I really enjoyed reading this straight forward practical guide on how our posture affects our health. The author clearly guides us through understanding how to take care of how we hold ourselves and how vital it is to teach our children to do the same. I also appreciated how he explains the role chiropractors can have in our lives and what they can do to help to keep us healthy. Good stuff!
