Make that first step – it’s easier than you think!

If you think about it, getting somewhere is all about making a start and then just moving towards your destination.  That’s simple enough.

rsz_bigstock_child_climbing_steps_323508_paid So today’s message is all about making that start.  We would all like to be better in some way or other and usually it’s just our frame of mind that stops us.  We can all think of something we should start (or stop) that would make us better, but we just can’t seem to get going.  So let’s see what we can do about this.

Once you have made the start it gets easy as you’ve changed your mind-frame.  You already feel better about yourself.  Think of something small that you can do consistently that will enhance your health.

How about drink more water?  Most of us are dehydrated so that would be a great place to start.

Go and get a glass of water right now and resolve to drink an extra 4 glasses a day.  If you follow through, you will be healther and, more importantly, you have made that first step.

Here’s just 3 of many good reasons to drink more water:

1)   90% of your brain is water

2)   Dehydration brings on stiffness and degeneration

3)   Plenty of water slows ageing.
