🇦🇺 Australia-trained 🏥 Clementi 🗣️ English, Korean 🤝 Honest, Family-First Care
A back injury changed the direction of my whole life.
I’d always been fascinated by the human body — I studied physical education in Korea, drawn to movement, anatomy, and rehabilitation. But it wasn’t until I injured my own back in Australia and experienced chiropractic care firsthand that everything clicked.
I was hooked. I knew, then and there, what I wanted to do.
My path here wasn’t a straight line, and I’m grateful for that.
After graduating from Kyonggi University in Korea, I moved to Australia to improve my English. What started as a six-month plan turned into an entirely new chapter of my life. I went on to complete both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Chiropractic at Macquarie University, passed my board exams, and became a fully licensed chiropractor in Australia.
What drew me to chiropractic — and still does — is seeing real, immediate change. Watching a patient walk out feeling better than when they came in never gets old. I was also drawn to the depth of the role: assessing, diagnosing, taking X-rays, and being fully responsible for a patient’s care from beginning to end.
I first came to Singapore in 2019, on the recommendation of a friend I’d studied with. I was craving a new adventure, and Singapore felt like exactly that. Then COVID hit, I found myself stranded here for a while, and my own health took a real toll. I returned to Korea to recover, and once I was back on my feet, a close friend at Total Health Chiropractic brought me on board in February 2023. I haven’t looked back since.
That period of being unwell taught me something I carry into every session: how it feels to be the patient, not the practitioner. It’s why I believe so strongly in being kind and straightforward. I’ll always be honest about what chiropractic can and can’t do for you, and I’ll take the time to explain it clearly. With my background in sports injury and rehabilitation, I also love empowering patients with the right exercises — tailored to exactly what their body needs.
One of the moments I treasure most came when I had to leave a clinic due to illness. The letters, cards, and gifts I received from patients overwhelmed me. It reminded me just how much these relationships mean. Those are the moments I hold onto.
Outside the clinic, you’ll find me watching a film with a cold beer in hand, or keeping active at the gym.
What makes me laugh in the clinic Honestly, something different every single day — that’s what keeps the clinic fun.
How I stay grounded When my mind gets too busy, I turn to books, extra sleep, or a long conversation with my best friend.
One habit I’d give every patient The thing I tell every patient, every single day: stop sitting for so long. Get up and stretch!
I care for every patient as if they were family, but here are the people whose stories mean the most to me. If you see yourself here, I’d love to help.
🌿 People living with chronic pain — those who’ve struggled for a long time and almost given up hope. Seeing them improve is the most rewarding part of what I do.
🧓 Elderly patients — helping you stay mobile, comfortable, and able to enjoy daily life, with gentle care tailored to you.
🏃 Active people and rehab cases — with my sports injury background, I love helping you recover well and get back to moving with confidence.
🤝 Anyone nervous about chiropractic — if cervical adjustments or the idea of treatment makes you anxious, I’ll always explain, reassure, and work only with what you’re comfortable with.
Techniques I practise: Diversified · Activator Method · SOT · Thompson Drop (with Gonstead principles applied in X-ray analysis and case assessment)
In compliance with MOH guidelines (2026), our chiropractors hold a recognised professional qualification in Chiropractic — a Traditional and Complementary Therapy qualification.
