Dr Shara Downey a Canadian Chiropractor, with 21 years of experience providing Singapore, the best holistic chiropractic care available.
After completing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Human Kinetics from Biola University in California, Dr Shara returned to Canada to complete a Masters of Science in Public Health. However, following a serious car accident that led to debilitating migraines and temporary loss of the ability to walk, she developed a keen interest in chiropractic. In 2004, she graduated with honours and multiple awards from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
As a College Basketball and Track athlete, Dr Shara developed an in-depth background in health and fitness. Dr Shara is also able to provide chiropractic support for the active community, whether dealing with injury rehabilitation or preventative care, she’ll help you get back to the activities you enjoy.
As a mother of four, Dr Shara is well aware of the challenges women face during pregnancy. Skilled in the Webster technique, she works with her mom’s through term and beyond, providing much-needed support.
While supporting her own four kids through cough, cold, childhood illness naturally, Dr Shara has specialised training in paediatrics and childhood chiropractic care.
Dr Shara is certified in numerous chiropractic techniques including Cranial Sacral, Diversified, Activator Method, and A.R.T (Active Release Technique).
When not working, she enjoys cycling, swimming and being a cheerleader at all of her kids’ sporting events.
