Do you have radiating arm and leg pain?

Pain in the hands, arms, legs, feet, or toes can be an indication of a severe condition that involves the pinching or compression of nervesPlease take radiating arm and leg pain seriously.

Radiating arm and leg pain can come from several origins and is often related to disc herniation, compression of nerves by arthritis, scar tissue, muscle spasm or inflammation along the course of the nerve.

Generally, this pain is a sharp shooting, unpleasant sensation along the arm or the leg. This pain often follows the path of the nerve. These patterns of radiating nerve pain can lead astute clinicians to identify the cause of the problem.

At Total Health Chiropractic Singapore, during an initial full consultation, our chiropractors will first determine whether or not you are a suitable candidate for the conservative chiropractic care we offer. This consultation includes a thorough case history and any necessary orthopedic and neurological exams. Our team will organize X-Rays so that we can see any adverse changes that are happening to your spine. When our chiropractors have the essential information to give you the very best care, our chiropractor will outline your recommended treatment protocol.

The earlier the intervention, the higher the likelihood of total resolution of symptoms. Suffering from radicular pain is unnecessary.

What studies show us about radiating arm and leg pain

“Spinal manipulative therapy may be a better treatment option than nerve root injections. Primarily for patients experiencing chronic neck pain caused by a cervical disk herniation. In this study, researchers followed the progress of 104 MRI-confirmed cervical disk herniation patients who received either spinal manipulation or nerve root injections and found those treated by a chiropractor were significantly more likely to report improvement after three months.”

Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, March 2016

Success Stories

I can only describe the pain I was getting down the back and side of my legs as unbearable. I was told that I was facing surgery if things deteriorated further. I had tried everything; massage, pilates, physiotherapy, and only received short term relief; always the pain came back. It took about 6 treatments with Dr Tim before I saw real improvement and since then I seem to just get better and better.
I am extremely grateful for their professional and understandable approach. I feel that I am now on a journey to a higher level of overall health as my entire spine works better.
